Lauren Wade - Editor-in-Chief

Where are you from?
I'm a Brighton babe.

Where did Rock Revolver come from?
I set up Rock Revolver because people got sick of me pestering them about new bands they absolutely needed to listen to all the time.

What's your all time favourite record?
Arctic Monkeys' 'Humbug'

Do you have a favourite band?
Arctic Monkeys have been close to my heart for a very long time (and always will), but more recently it's been all about Foals, The Big Moon, Two Door Cinema Club and Circa Waves.

Which artists are you tipping for success?
The Magic Gang, Fickle Friends, Middle Kids, Blaenavon, Declan McKenna and Maggie Rogers.

Jack Winstanley - Writer

Where are you from?
I'm from Leeds!

What's your all time favourite record?
The first record I fell in love with will always remain my all time favourite! 'Youth & Young Manhood' by Kings Of Leon. It's a blistering rock album that led them onto big things and got me hooked on music.

Do you have a favourite band?
The Cribs are likely to be up there for me, if not my favourite. They're such an incredible band with such a solid discography.

Which artists are you tipping for success?
Hotel Lux, Goat Girl and any other young talented artists making honest music.

Alice Mortimer - Writer

Where are you from?
I'm from Bury St. Edmunds (in Suffolk, Ed Sheeran's ends), although based in Norwich at the moment.

What's your all time favourite record?
Arctic Monkeys' 'Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not' and Tame Impala's 'Currents'. Pretty cliched indie answers!

Do you have a favourite band?
I really can't answer because I have no clue! But if we're talking about "all time" then I embarrassingly know every single Arctic Monkeys/Alex Turner lyric there is!

I also really like Metronomy, Tame Impala (of course). I'm listening to a lot of Superfood, Gorillaz and Spoon at the moment.

Which artists are you tipping for success?
Declan McKenna's already doing it but I really think he's going to get even bigger, also Husky Loops, Liss and Marika Hackman.

Sophie Clark - Writer

Where are you from?
Originally from the quaint countryside of Buckinghamshire, and now studying in Brighton.

What's your all time favourite record?
Thanks to my Father, I have every word of Huey Lewis and the News' 'Fore' ingrained in my memory, and it never fails to make me smile. Obviously, I have brief love affairs with other albums, but I have no shame in admitting that 'Fore' has been my favourite since day 1!

Do you have a favourite band?
It's impossible to choose just one! Arctic Monkeys, The Magic Gang, The Libertines, Spector and Warpaint are a few of my favourites.

Which artists are you tipping for success?
Wild Front, Neon Waltz, Tor Miller, Blaenavon and Dream Wife.
