The Hunna

HERTFORDSHIRE four-piece, The Hunna dropped their new EP at the stroke of midnight on January 1st and what a treat that turned out to be. Already signed to High Time Records, the quartet have previously opened for Coasts and now they're building a fan base that would appear to rival that of even The 1975, who they have earned themselves comparisons to.

Title-track 'We Could Be' kickstarts the new material with a punchy beat and unrelenting riffs, whilst the chorus takes the continuous build of the track to supersonic territory. 'Be Young' taps into an infectious intensity and pulses with a tectonic urgency.

The Hunna are consistently impressive and the synapse-melting 'World Is Ours' that closes the EP can vouch for this. Vocalist, Ryan Potter sings that: "The world is ours tonight" and the world is becoming theirs, increasingly more and more so.

They're gearing up to take on bigger venues by the looks of it and a smug feeling arises when listening to The Hunna; you just know that 2016 is going to be their year. Let's hope they debut some more material soon, as the frenzy they've sparked in recent months isn't set to die down anytime soon.
