Public Service Broadcasting

Public Service Broadcasting are a duo from London, making a name for themselves. The lineup consists of J Willgoose Esq (guitar, piano, banjo, electronics) and Wriggleswroth (drums, electronics). Whilst they may sound like a pair of Sloane rangers echoing wartime propaganda. Give them a chance and you will find that there's more to them, than war connotations.

Their single 'Everest' incorporates snippets from old public information films and relies heavily on an electronic sound. It works well, and the Everest links are extended further with the line "carving steps into the roof of the world." It's clever, appealing and something a little different.

If you're looking for music that will inform and entertain you - Public Service Broadcasting are your go to guys. Their album is expected for release in 2013.
