Chains of Love

Chains of Love are a band from Vancouver who were featured on Guardian's New band of the day, earlier in the week and they caught my attention. It is rare in today's music industry you find a female-fronted band who actually get it right. Chains of Love communicate a soft grungy edge of garage rock with raw elements thrown into the mix.
There album may only be just under twenty minutes long, but what they lack in time they make up for in talent and energy. There songs are likely to get stuck in your head and leave you wanting more.
Tracks from their album such as 'He's Leaving With Me' and 'I'd Rather Be Crying' have a classic teenage heartbreak feel that appeals to the masses, as we have all been there before. Their music is easy to relate to but more than that, it contains a soft edge that will never go out of fashion.
