Next Big Thing: Lucy Rose

As a vocal contributor to the albums Flaws and A Different Kind Of Fix, Lucy Rose will already be fairly familiar with Bombay Bicycle Club fans. The twenty three year old singer/songwriter hailing from Warwickshire, doesn't fit firmly into one genre - you can find her experimenting with soft rock, folk rock, indie and acoustic rock. Her sound provides something for everybody.

Rose has already received recognition from major media names such as The Fly, who said that "Each song is  a confessional of her most tightly clasped secrets."
Whilst NME  added that Lucy Rose is "Kicking up a storm in her own right." I couldn't agree more.

With only four singles to her name, Lucy (real surname Parton) is set to conquer the music industry with her experimental sound. Her debut album Like I Used To is set for release on September 24 in the UK. Signed editions can be ordered via http://www.play.com/Music/CD/4-/32264334/0/Like-I-Used-To/ListingDetails.html?P36=XBZHRG&affid=sonybmgdm&awc=buyat&_$ja=tsid:11516|prd:sonybmgdm

I will definitely be picking up a copy when it hits the shelves next week; make sure you do too.
