Live report: Paul McCartney

On Monday night I was fortunate enough to be at the Jubilee Concert outside Buckingham Palace.
All the performances were excellent, however one stood out amongst the rest - Paul McCartney.
The former Beatle showcased former hits to a strong crowd of 12,000 (and those in the mall). It was an unforgettable set that the rocker put on for the nation.

The setlist:
1. Magical Mystery Tour
2. All My Loving
3. Let It Be
4. Live and Let Die
5. Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da

As a Beatles fan myself, it was incredible to see these songs played live. The Beatles spilt up decades before I was born; I never believed I'd hear their songs live. The atmosphere was astounding, it was one great party in the heart of London. During Let It Be people were sobbing from happiness (myself included) a sense of patriotism ran through all that night. Even the royals were singing along to the former Beatle's hits. Sir Macca is a man who knows how it's done.
